It is absolutely possible to design a modern and sophisticated kids’ bathroom that will fit the feel of the rest of the home. You want to create a fun atmosphere for your children and you can do so by adding pops of color, getting creative with the lighting and customizing the bathroom to the kids’ personalities. The kids’ bathroom is where clients feel like they can add colors they normally would not use in the kitchen, master or powder bath.
My suggestions in designing a modern kids’ bathroom would be to go fairly neutral on the cabinet color, countertop and main floor color. The shower can also be kept neutral and by adding a simple mosaic that is a pastel or bold color can change the feel of the space to be more fun and interesting. Bathroom elements that are easily interchangeable as they grow are the paint color, cabinet hardware and lighting. Here are 3 different design schemes to give you a few ideas of how to make a kids bathroom fun, modern and stylish while at the same time creating something that they can appreciate as they grow.
