Sammamish WA Family-Friendly Fun

By Kathleen Pennington | Managing Broker – John. L. Scott/HWP

Are you looking for some family-friendly fun on the Eastside this summer? A wonderful experience awaits you and your family! Bring your family to make new friends with these gentle and friendly furry animals! Sammamish Animal Sanctuary at Second Chance Ranch is home to over 30 farm animals that were previously in neglectful or abusive situations. Their lives are full of love and care at the Ranch, with Diane Odegard Gockel and the devoted volunteers. Diane and her husband have been rescuing animals for 16 years, and in late 2016, the Sammamish Animal Sanctuary at Second Chance Ranch became a non-profit Ranch.

The kids will adore Cowboy, the gentle and very large longhorn Jersey steer, when you first pull in the driveway.

All of the goats will make you laugh with their adorable personalities. What a great experience for young and old alike! They even do birthday parties.

Come to enjoy what the Ranch will give you – lots of love, smiles, and laughter with your new-found furry friends! Hours open to the public – daily, 8:00am to Dusk.
